The skip has arrived!

Things are coming on nicely and I think the name on the skip say's it all at the moment. I know mum's pretty excited now things are starting to take shape and dad's loving spending time at the house and is learning new things all the time!
This is the kitchen in it's present state...all dad's handywork...and so far, we've established he's very good at demolishing things! The kitchen 'snug' as we're calling it will be in the area under the far window.

The kitchen island will be in the area under the semi-demolished cupboard below. Just waiting for the plumber to cap off some pipes before dad can remove it completely.

The wall between the toilet and the bathroom has now been knocked down, the original door to the bathroom has been removed and blocked up (below) and Larry has thankfully approved the works!

The new partition in the study.

This is the opening from the main bedroom through to the en-suite, which is one half of what was once the old study on the left-hand side of the house. We've used the other half to create the new study shown in the extremely interesting photo above!!!

Looking through to the bedroom from the en-suite.

  1. Only just realised I can do this on here!
What job title exactly does Larry hold - and is he superior to Ian in the labouring world!

  2. What job?!!!
I won't tell Larry you asked that! Aside from attempting to steal any lunchboxes lying around on site at any given opportunity, he prides himself in overseeing everything (yes everything!) which goes on on site, hence his presence in most of the photos I take!!! His official title is 'Clerk of Works'. xxx
